Opening Night 'That Felted Feeling' on till August 22nd

Opening Night for me, Peace, And, Quiet my 3 head Pieces. It was a great night meeting all the lovely felters from Queensland Spinners Weavers and Fibre Artists. The show was put together beautifully and the quality of work is just outstanding it's on till August 22nd.Following is a few pictures taken on opening night by Shannon Booyen.

'Peace'
is made from a custom made pattern, with 25 individual hand felted and stiffened layers of Felbi wool batt

'And'
is made up of 150 hand felted and sewen merino wool rose petals



'Quiet'
is made from strips of Felbi wool batt hand felted/rolled onto 20 meters of cane then woven together and embellished with small felted roses, felted origami crane and crystal diamontes.

The Felt rollers, their was no way I was going to attempt to felt 20 meters of cane by myself so I called in my ever so helpfeul friends. I put on the soup pot and threw a Rhubarb crumble in the oven and cranked up the stero. Thanks girls I couldn't have done it without you.

Hello, everyone. I am still travelling around Ausrtralia in a caravan.Thank you for your comments, and quotes. I am enjoying them alot.I particularily like one about the crayons.
